2205 GMT, 990504 – On May 4, Yugoslav RTS television broadcast video footage of what it claimed was a downed A-10 aircraft. According to RTS, the following numbers were visible on the fuselage of the aircraft: model A10a, series A 40662, code 77751. RTS reported that an air defense unit of the Pristina corps shot down the NATO aircraft. Additional sources in Yugoslavia have sent still shots from the broadcast (Picture 1, Picture 2, Picture 3).
